This past weekend marked the 32nd consecutive season of the Black Party in New York City, presented by The Saint at Large. I’ve been part of the leather and BDSM scene for the last five years but have never attended a party of this magnitude and only considered it after participating in Folsom Street East for the first time last summer. The fact that Folsom Street East falls on Fathers’ Day is more than thoroughly appropriate - we know how to celebrate our daddies! Read more »

The High Line is a public park in New York City which was built on an old railway running between 10th and 11th Avenues, and extending from to Gansevoort Street to 30th Street. Upon the completion of its third and final phase, it will run north to 34th Street.
The designs for the third and final phase of New York City’s High Line were released yesterday! With spring fast approaching, you’ll definitely be seeing me there with a book in hand. Okay, fine… knitting needles. Whatever. See the designs after the JUMP.

I participate in the walk every year from San Diego, California but this will be my first year with AIDS Walk New York. I managed to raise $500 for the walk last year and have decided to go above and beyond this year with an ambitious goal of raising $1000 by the 20th of May. As of Monday, the 27th of February, it has been reported that the walk has raised a total of $737,211 donations.
That being said go ahead and contribute $1, $10, $100 - the important thing is not the level of your monetary contribution but your wholehearted support! Together we can make a big difference! Find my donation page here (http://aidswalknewyork2012.kintera.org/ellestanol).

It is located in the heart of the West Village on 49 Grove Street, at the corner of Grove and Bleecker Streets off 7th Avenue. Come over and check out this hot, Thursday night party! Did I mention the two open bars from 10-10:30PM and 11-11:30PM?
I kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012 at The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection, a benefit show and national campaign which raises awareness for women’s heart health diseases. The campaign’s tenth anniversary kicked off New York Fashion Week with celebrities such as veteran model and longtime RDC supporter Christie Brinkley, former model and actress Rebecca Romijn, and singer-songwriter Gloria Estefan.
